”FLUX LIGHTING has been a French manufacturer of outdoor LED lighting equipment since 1993. The company designs, manufactures and markets high-quality luminaires using the ”EASY LIGHT” philosophy: easy to install and easy to use.”
Our own engineering department develops and designs all our products from start to finish using the EASY LIGHT philosophy.
The company has a test laboratory specially equipped to carry out testing:
To perform rigorous testing and to achieve technical excellence, the R&D department has a 3D printer for modelling mechanical parts, a salt spray test chamber, a climate chamber, a dust chamber, a UV ageing chamber and a thermal imaging camera.
FLUX has its own manufacturing facility near of Lyon city in France which is staffed by qualified technicians. All our products are assembled in-house.
To protect LED products from the harmful effects of electrostatic discharge, the staff are electrically earthed during manufacturing processes and undergo special training. It is for these reasons that, for several years now, our company has operated a production workshop which complies with ESD standards.
Our production workshop and staff are equipped with the following:
WHY THINK ABOUT THE LIFETIME OF THE PRODUCT ?
Other characteristics of products (eg recent models using less energy than older or the high luminous efficiency can reduce the quantity of luminaires in place) in addition the benefits of longer lifetime. Moreover for consumers to be informed about the product lifetime is one way to ensure the investment. The long lifetime is an advantage for both: environment and interest of consumer / user.

STANDARDS
C.E. : European Conformity
Low voltage directive: The Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/UE) aims at guaranteeing the safety of electrical devices used in the same voltage span from 50 to 1.000VAC (alternative current) and from 75 to 1.500VDC (direct current).
NF EN 60598-1 : Luminaires – Part 1 : general requirements and tests.
SELV : Safety Low Safety Voltage (max. 50Vac and max. 120Vdc).
RoHS (2011/65/UE) european directive: intended to limit the use of six hazardous substances.« RoHS » means Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The substances are lead, mercury, cadmium, Hexavelent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).
PACKAGING
FLUX packagings are 100% cardboard, without staple.
This recyclable high quality packaging has adequate space for variable lengths of cable and other optional accessories. There are varying box sizes to prevent unnecessary packaging waste.
Packaging is flat packed. Ergonomically designed to optimise installation time. Optimisation of packaging design for transport efficiency. Several tests were performed internally regarding changes in design to resistance and transport which affect thickness splines and timings. Various symbols can be read on our packaging including RESY logo which indicates the recycling boxes warranty. Corrugated cardboard used is 100% natural: made from abundant raw material, cultivated and renewable (wood cellulose is extracted). It contributes to the maintenance of the forest and the capture of CO². It is biodegradable, it can biodegrade in a very short period of time (in 3 weeks in humid conditions), enriching the ground. Finally, the corrugated cardboard is recyclable and recycled for the same use: its recovery rate is 80%. Recycling is ensured by more 50 factories spreads on the French territory.
FLUX expands its market outside of France and wins new projects thanks to its partners abroad. Our recent installations include: the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Bahrain, the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Achgabat Theatre in Turkmenistan, the Fietsbrug Sydneystraat bridge in Rotterdam. We develop decorative and architectural lighting projects in different environments: museums, theatres, parks, casinos, cruise ships, pools, top-of-the-range villas, shops, hotels, malls, palaces… Our LED range keeps expanding with our new high-power floodlights and street luminaires.
